BLUE COKE$

Colors can elicit specific emotions and set the mood of a brand’s expression. In this work, the famous Coca-Cola red, is reimagined in a striking and calming blue. Psychologically, Coca-Cola uses the color red as it is universally associated with strong emotions – passion, energy and excitement.

The floating cans in this flat-abstract design is a scene that is familiar, but also foreign at the same time.

By changing the color palette and playing with an unusual arrangement of the coke cans, the piece probes us to question the role of commercial imagery in our lives-- encouraging us to reflect on how art, business, and culture come together.
