THE LEADER

Inspired by the powerful legacy of Ho Chi Minh, A/S explores the profound influence one individual can wield in shaping a nation’s identity. In this vibrant piece, Ho Chi Minh's iconic portrait is deconstructed with a striking 3D effect. The face, initially obscured, gradually reveals itself, inviting viewers to look closely and shift their perspective to uncover the hidden image within the artist’s unique style.

As an iconic figure, Ho Chi Minh’s image permeates modern Vietnam, appearing in everything from street murals to marketing campaigns, underscoring the intertwining of his legacy with contemporary consumer culture. This omnipresence not only reflects a reverence for his ideals but also raises questions about the commodification of identity and the role of influential figures in shaping societal narratives.
